Northwest Artists Shine at 2024–2025 SLCSD Art Show

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the Annual Salt Lake City School District 2024–2025 Art Show who represented Northwest Middle School with creativity, talent, and pride. This prestigious district-wide event is highly competitive, with students from six middle schools submitting outstanding artwork in 2D, 3D, and digital categories.

Despite the tough competition, our students stood out and brought home top honors across the board:

2D Art Category

• 1st Place – Louise by Louise Mellen
• 2nd Place – Abstract Reflection by Britannya Hinkle
• 3rd Place – $20 by Phoenix Daley

3D Art Category

• Best in Show – Take Me Out to the Fair by Sofia Perez
• 1st Place – The Forgotten City by Ryn Mecham
• 2nd Place – Koi Pond by Aurora Estrada
• 3rd Place – Empiric by Phoenix Daley
• Honorable Mention – Breath Taking Breakfast by Sofia Hernandez
• Honorable Mention – Cochian Dragon by Magic Toiaivao

Digital Art Category

• 1st Place – It’s a Beautiful Day by Ryn Mecham

All of these amazing pieces will be on display in the Northwest library next week. We encourage everyone to stop by and celebrate the incredible talent of our student artists!
